SU 07 NE BROAD TOWN COTMARSH

9/11 Little Cotmarsh Farmhouse

II

Farmhouse, C17, rendered stone with slate roof quarter hipped to
right. Main range of 4-bays parallel and set back from road, 2
rooms divided by stack and further stack to left end. At right
rear, comtemporary lower wing of 1½-bays, of similar construction
with original service rooms, further extended by 1 bay. C20
timber casement windows.
Interior: deep chamfered cross beams with swept ends to left end
room. Roof with deep sectioned principal rafters, slightly
cambered collars, ridge and butt purlins.
