Nos. 12, 12a, 13 and 13a
Houses and surgery and flats, 1850-60 for GWR. Limestone ashlar with black
mortar. Brick rear walls. 2 storey, 9 bays. Low plinth,
entrances in 3rd and 7th bays; chamfered surrounds and straight
bracketed hoods. Entry to rear in 5th bay; pointed segmental
chamfered head. Windows with chamfered stone surrounds and 4-pane
sashes, C20. Shouldered gables over 1st and 9th bays. 2-bay
gabled return on Taunton Street, and to Exeter Street.
