7/316 Barn at The Granary

GV II

Barn. C16, walls rebuilt C18. Flint and brick bands to sleeper
walls, half-hipped tiled roof. 6-bay aisled barn. Two pairs of
opposing double doors in hipped porches. Roof has vertical struts
to collar, pairs of straight braces from aisle posts on stone pads
to tie-beam and wall plate, aisles with curved bracing to collars,
two tiers of through purlins, straight wind brancing to lower tier.
Possibly originally longer than six bays.
