Shop, probably formerly house. Dated 1731. Colourwashed brick, in Flemish bond
with stucco quoins, storey band and moulded eaves cornice. Old tile roof, hipped
to left. 3 storeys; 4-window range. To ground floor two early C19 part-glazed.
panelled doors with margin bars set back from early C19 paned shop front bays.
To first floor four 12-pane sashes with flat brick arches with keyblocks.
Further four 12-pane sashes to second floor. Datestone to second floor right is
shared with adjoining building, No.10 (Mallets) (q.v.), and is inscribed
'JH/1731'. One-unit, one-storey range to rear. Interior not inspected.
