9/456 United Bus Co Depot
Bus garage. 1930. Painted concrete. Greek Doric style. One tall storey. 6-bay
centre, set-back side bays and plainer right end section projecting slightly.
Symmetrical main block has 6 vehicle entrances, with folding boarded and glazed doors,
in colonnade with fluted columns and entablature with frieze. Side bays
have vehicle entrance at left window at right. Ramped and stepped parapet has
pierced panels. Further plain bay at left and 2-storey office block of 2 wide bays at
right. Roof not visible.
