House. Early C19, rear and right return walls rebuilt c1990.
Coursed squared stone; slate roof with brick end stacks. 2
storeys; symmetrical 3-window range. Platt band over ground
floor and 1st floor sill band; wide eaves. Entrance has C20
glazed porch and glazed door. Windows have flat arches with
keys over 2-light small-paned horizontally sliding sashes,
central 1st floor blind window. Lean-to outshuts to each end
with straight parapets, that to right with small casement
window. Rear wall is blind. A rare example of a stone cottage
in Stratford. Included for group value.
