Former house, now house and bank. Probable C15 3 bay hall house with inserted C17
chimney stack, refronted in early C19 and refenestrated in C20. Timber framed,
part exposed on north elevation with jowled post and curved braces but front
elevation red and grey chequerwork brick on ground floor and weatherboarded 1st
floor. Hipped Horsham stone slate roof with gablets. 2 storeys 3 windows, now
C20 triple casements. No 36 has a small modern wooden porch and No 38 a doorcase
with flat hood over. C17 brick inserted chimney stack on ridge between 1st and
2nd bay from north, further chimney stacks to right of south gablet and at north
end.
