Milepost. Probably mid-to-late C19. Cast iron with black painted base
and raised lettering. Triangular in section with chamfered top, sloping
to front. Lettered "MADELEY" on top; "ONNELEY 1½ /WOORE 2¾" on left;
"MADELEY ½ /KEELE 3/NEWCASTLE 6" on right.
