House. C17, with C19 alterations and extensions. Timber framed, exposed on first
floor rear of cross-wing to left. Clad in whitewashed brick below with C19
"club" tile hanging above, plain tiled roofs. T-shaped plan in original building
with extensions to ends and rear. Two storeys over cellar to right. Stack at
junction of wing and main house. Gable end wing to left with attic casement, one
first, one between-floors and one ground floor casement window, the latter in a
hipped-roof, square bay single storey range. One 3-light C19 casement on each floor
to right over two, cambered-head, cellar windows. One window on each floor of
left hand, C19, extension. Ribbed door in gabled and bargeboarded porch at centre
junction of both ranges. Left hand return front:- single storey C20 extension
across ground floor. Rear:- C19 brick extensions.
Interior:- Frame exposed in partition walls and on ceilings.
