300 yards south of
Hazelwood Lane and
opposite Brixham

Post c1860. c3½ foot high. Metal four legged plinth with chamfered pier above;
moulded capital band and pyramidal top. London County Council Shield cast on the
front and lettering below reading: "24 ' 25 VICT/CAP 42". A Coal and Wine duty
post marking the boundary at which tax was payable; that on coal dating back to the
1660's.
