Substantial C17 timber framed house with alterations and additions. 2 storeys
and attic, 4 bays, the left bay with a returned gable end. High pitched tiled
roof, half hipped at right, has 2 gabled dormers of more modern appearance. One
original and one later ridge stack. Diamond tile hung 1st floor, red brick ground
floor with some grey headers. Large modern leaded casements in oak frames. One
canted bay with hipped tiled roof. Porch set into projecting left bay. Inside
much exposed large square framing, ceiling beams and a wide inglenook. Modern
extensions to right and rear.
