GV II

Handed, cottage pair. Early C19. Incised colourwashed render cladding to front,
brown brick return walls and hipped slate roofs. Taller central block flanked
by lower, battlemented, set-back wings. Two storeys with centre stack. Two 4-
centre arched-head casement windows on each floor of centre block; each of two
lights with intersecting Gothick ogee tracery. One 2-light window on first
floor of each side bay with blind, 4-centre arched head over. Half-glazed and
panelled door to left in flat-roofed C19 wooden porch. (No 73). Half-glazed and
panelled door to right (No 75) under intersecting,ogee-traceried fanlight in early
C19 trellis-work porch with spade shaped finial to gable apex.
