TQ 04 NE SHERE CP HORSHAM ROAD

5/214 Fulvens Barn

GV II

Barn, now house. Circa 1600 converted in early C20, further extended and
altered in 1960s. Timber framed with weatherboard cladding below, tile
hung above with plain tiled roofs stepping down to left. Two storeys,
single storey to left. Corbelled rear ridge stack to right and corbelled
stack at junction of two roofs, C20 corbelled stack to left. Diamond
pane leaded casement fenestration, iregular with two four-light windows
to right on first floor and four windows below. Ground floor windows to
left continuous and extending up to eaves on right half of extension.
Large gabled full height square bay window to left. Ribbed door to left of
centre under flat hood.

Right hand return front: brick and sandstone rubble wall below, galleted
sandstone to rear.
