Lodge. 1877 by R. Norman Shaw. Half timbered, close stud, with rubblestone
walls below. Hipped, plain tiled roof. Single storey. Placed at 45° angle
to road. Tall central ribbed stack with oversailing top. Attic under
penticed roof casement dormer on entrance front. Gable to left with five-
light casement windows. Decorative, diamond patterned framing over moulded
beam and stone dado wall to right. Ribbed door with strap-work hinges
behind arched entrance in central porch recess.

Left hand return front (facing Holly Lane): two casement windows. Further
door to left in extension to rear.
