Lodge 1877 by R. Norman Shaw. Half timbered, close stud, with rubblestone
walls below. Hipped, plain tiled roof. Single storey. Placed at 45° angle
to road. Tall central ribbed stack with oversailing top. Attic under
penticed roof casement former on entrance front. Gable to right with 5-light
casement window. Decorative, diamond patterned, framing over mouled beam and
stone dado wall to left. Ribbed door with strap-work hinges behind arched
entrance in central porch recess.

Right hand return front (facing Holly Lane): two casement windows. Further
foor to right in extension to rear.
