9/83 Elizabethan Cottage

Cottage. Late C16, early C17 with C19 extension across rear. Timber
framed with brick cladding below, whitewashed brick infill above;
whitewashed brick on rear extension. Hipped, plain tiled roof with
ridge stack to right of centre. Two storeys. Three framed bays with
casement windows across the first floor. Central, C20, brick gabled
porch with planked door flanked by leaded margin lights. Return
fronts have rendered infill on first floor and exposed corner bracing
to left.
Interior: The old exterior wall preserved inside to rear, partition
and ceiling framing visible in the front.
