House. C16 extended and partly rebuilt in 1897 after fire and now divided. Timber framed section to front on brick plinth with red and blue brick cladding below; tile hung in diamond pattern above, extensions to right and rear in similar style. Plain tiled roofs with large corbelled triple ridge stack to rear right. L shaped with gabled front cross wing set back to right end. 2 storeys over cellars with attic on bargeboard gable bay to right. Brick dentilled band over ground floor boarded eaves to roof. Regular fenestration, 3 leaded casements across first floor left, one to right. Gabled entrance bay to right of centre with glazing bar sash window in first floor. 1707 on stone plaque in gable. Entrance below with arched wooden porch entrance "RC" and "JC" in spandrels. Gabled bay to right end with angle bay window on ground floor.

Courtyard elevation of rear wing: Large gable to left with stone dressed angle bay, mullioned and transomed leaded casement. Recessed bay to re-entrant angle with pebbledashed square tower over; four stages under pyramidal roof. Pent roof porch on stone dado walls and leaded windows flanking part glazed door.

Interior:- Extensive framing visible in front range with central chamfered spine beam and side joists to ceilings. Deep brick fireplaces with wooden lintel. Early Georgian panelled bedroom on first floor.
