9/13 North Manor Farmhouse


GV II

Farmhouse. Late C16/early C17. Timber framed and plastered, dairy end to east
of colourwashed brick; pantiled roof. Single storey and attic, 2 storeys at
east end. 5 window range: 3 C19 3-light casements (one with paired shutters)
and 2 mid C20 large pane casements at dairy end; 2 doorways: 6-panel door
within modern gabled brick porch to right hand side, boarded half-door to left
hand side; 4 catslide-roofed dormers, hipped roof, 2 internal stacks. Interior
with good exposed timberwork, some original doors and a section of panelling in
one ground floor room. Later extensions to the farmhouse to the south now form
a separate dwelling called Manor House (q.v).
