House. C18, incorporating earlier wing. Red brick and plain
tiled roof, with timber framed and part tile hung range to
rear. Entrance front: 2 storeys and attic, with parapet to
hipped roof, returned end projecting to left with raking
dormer with glazing bar sash. Stacks to centre and to right
on kneelered parapet gable to rear range. The first floor
brickwork of different colour and bond to ground floor.
Irregular fenestration of 2 glazing bar sashes on first floor,
and 2 on ground floor on projecting wing left, and 1 glazing
bar sash in recessed centre, with door of 6 raised and fielded
panels in Doric porch, with sash sidelights. Left return:
parapet to hipped roof and 2 raking dormers; regular fenest-
ration of 4 glazing bar sashes to each floor.
Interior: details c.1800 of marble fire surrounds, moulded
cornice; ramped stair.
