Pair of estate cottages. 1846; built for workers on Hall Farm. Colourwash on
red brick; pantiled roof with ridge tiles. Picturesque estate style.
Symmetrical form, with gabled cross-wings projecting to front and rear. 2
storeys. 4 windows, 2-light casements with lattice panes under segmental
arches. Across the recessed centre an open lean-to verandah on square timber
posts; doorways to inner returns of wings. Above the verandah are 2 gabled
half-dormers. Scalloped bargeboards to all gables. 2 stacks, each with 3
square shafts set diamondwise.
