House. Mid-late C17. Timber framed, part roughcast-rendered, part plastered.
Pantiled roof. 2-cell, end chimney type. 1 1/2 storeys. 2 cross windows
without glazing bars, one window renewed mid C20. Central doorway has broad
architrave and cornice; 6-panel door. 2 flat-roofed dormers with 2-light
windows. To rear, facing Aspall Road, a single mid C20 3-light window.
Cement-rendered stack against outside of south gable end. Lean-to brick
addition on north gable end. Interior. Most of timbers concealed. Newel
stair, probably mostly original, underneath which is an old slatted partition
enclosing a larder.
