House. Mid C16, renovated 1985-6. Timber framed and rendered, pantiled roof.
Small 3-cell form. 1 1/2 storeys. 2 3-light casement windows and 2 gabled
dormers, all of c.1986. 2 original upper windows with diamond mullions, one
of them at the rear. Glazed entrance door in sidewall of rear lean-to.
Internal stack, the shaft rebuilt c.1986. Interior. Not examined during re-
survey. Frame in 4 bays with full-height studding and cranked bracing. Stack
is a later insertion, replacing a timber chimney. Clasped purlin roof.
Thought to be an early example of a lobby entry plan. (Information from Mr T.
