Pair of early C19 lodges flanking gateway. Brick with stone dressings. Small
rectangular single storey building with stone plinths, corner pilasters and
entablature with blocking courses. Low-pitched hipped slate roof. One bay facing
road, 2 bays to drive with round-arched central doorway with fanlight, moulded
stone architrave with keyblock and imposts. Sash windows in moulded stone architraves
with keyblocks.
Left-hand (west) lodge has blind windows and doors. Including flanking curved
screen walls, brick with plain stone coping.
