1771/7/10015 Standish Hospital Stable Range

II


Former stables and carriage house to Standish House (now Hospital, qv). c1830. Coursed stone with ashlar quoins, dressings, keystones and cornice bands. U-shaped range. Central bay slightly projecting with paired elliptical arches to the carriage house and 1st floor central round-arched opening breaking into the pediment. Ground floor openings round-arched and linked by cornice bands. Smaller cambered arch lst floor windows being mostly casements.
