Cottage, C17 and early C19. Timber framed on flint sills, flint
and brick. Thatched roof. Single-storey and attic, 3 bays, gable
to road, extended to left by 1 bay. Entrance to through hall and
flanking reception rooms. Framing exposed only on gable, 2 panels
high with corner braces on high sill. Facade faced in diaper
brickwork. Four-panelled door. Three-light casement windows to
ground floor with segmental heads, 2-and 3-light headed windows
above. Extension to left in flint and brick as also the rear
outshut. Outshut interrupted by upper floor to centre bay. Left
added bay has 1 bay rear wing. Gable stacks to 3 original bay
house.
