II
House, formerly inn. C17; rear wing possibly C18; late C20 addition. Timber
framed: square framing with brick infill. Right return side rendered. Rear wing
has colourwashed render. C20 addition of brick. Tile roofs; brick ridge stack.
L-plan, probably formerly lobby-entry, with wing on right to rear; C20 wing set
back on left to front. One storey and attic; 2 ground floor windows. 2-light
casements, c20 to left, and on right with glazing bars. Blocked doorway. Left
return side has C19 and C20 casements. Attic has late C20 three-light casement.
Entrance in C20 wing has part-glazed door. To rear: wing has late C20 casements.
C19 half-glazed door in angle. Interior of wing noted as having chamfered
ceiling beams.
