tower of Church of St. Giles

Chest tomb. Late C17. Sandstone. Moulded cornice. Central pitched section of top
has pediment carved with skull and cross bones to north, and with indistinct
carving to south. Ends have fielded panels. West side has inscription in C19
script to Matthew Neale 1730, probably a replacement of an earlier inscription
which in turn post-dated the monument.
