Detached cottage. Late C17, altered C20. Dressed limestone and
flint with some chalk block, thatched roof with brick stacks.
Single-storey and attic, 2-window east front. Planked door in C20
porch with 2-light casement either side and single-light casement
to right, C20 altered bay to left is rendered with casements, two
eyebrow dormers with 2-light casements. Right return gable end
wall in chalk block, VR posting box set in wall. Rear facing road
has two 2-light ground floor casements and three eyebrow dormers
with 2-light casements, the left two are chalk, right one C20.
Left return has two 2-light ground floor casements. Interior has
open fireplace with chamfered cambered lintel on stone jambs, bread
oven with unusual wooden door.
