An C18 red brick front to an earlier timber-framed building. A date
panel on the front has the initials W.B.B. and the date 1760. Roof
tiled, hipped, with 2 hipped dormers on the front. Two storeys and
attics. Seven window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars,
in flush cased frames. A central doorway has a Doric doorcase with
a modillion pediment. The house stands to the north of Polstead Ponds,
which are now partly filled in.
