Barn. Late C17 or early C18 with late C19 alterations. Coursed dressed
and squared stone; tiled roof; verge parapets with pitched copings.
2-level plan of hay loft over cattle sheds. Single hay loft door to
right end, 2 top-hung casements widely spaced to left and entrance
towards right-hand end. Further entrance with heavy lintel to left
end. The barn borders the entrance track to Gate Farm (q.v.) and
largely screens the house from the approach.
