Milepost. Probably early C20. Cast iron. Triangular plan, inclined head set approximately 700mm above ground level. Inscribed: "CHEDDLETON" and on left side: "WETLEY ROCKS 2/HILDERSTONE 12/SANDON 15 1/2/STAFFORD 20", and on right: "CHEDDLETON 1/2/LEEK 3 1/2".
