Cottage. Mid C16 with C17 refacing and late C19 alterations. Timber frame; rendered infill; thatched roof. Centre ridge stack. Single storey and attic. Two bays of two-panel height with diagonal braces under wall plate at cross wall divisions; two-window front; small-pane casements; upper pair above wall plate as swept dormers; lower left replaced by C20 casement; hipped lean-to addition against left end, of half bay contains boarded entrance door to south side. There is said to be a cruck frame within the cottage.

The cottage forms a cohesive group with Old Hall Farm (q.v.) and The Laurels (q.v.).
