Early C19 market building. Painted brick. Hipped plain tile roof with modillion
eaves cornice. Two storeys. Rectangular on plan, one by four bays. Ground floor
arcaded with shop fronts inserted but originally open ground floor. Three first
floor sash windows with glazing bars and voussoired lintels.
