Former house. c1820 with C20 additions. Red brick with slate hipped roof and various brick ridge stacks. Two storeys plus attics. Five bay main front with slightly recessed central bay. First floor now covered by a C20 round arched brick verandah with reused Doric columns in the centre, and a niche above. The central doorway has large segmental brick arch with double panel doors, fanlight and flanking lights. Eitherside two glazing bar sashes with brick wedge lintels. Above a central round headed glazing bar sash again flanked by two glazing bar sashes with wedge brick lintels. Above again two double C20 flat headed dormers.

Interior has cantilivered stone, three flight staircase with chaste iron balustrade and good plasterwork, the two main rooms on both floors have good plasterwork, joinery and marble fireplaces.

Attached to the rear is a very large C20 addition which is not of special interest.
