GV II

House. 1820-30, for the Commissioners of Greenwich Hospital. Tooled-and-
margined ashlar with Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Plinth. 2 steps
up to central 6-panel door with margined overlight, in architrave with
floating cornice. Renewed 16-pane sashes in plain reveals with projecting
sills. Plain cornice band. Hipped roof with 2 large banded ridge stacks.
2-bay returns with similar detail. 2 lower service wings to rear.
