GV II

House. C17, with early C20 extensions to left. Timber framed to left over
brick underbuild, galleted sandstone to right with brick angle quoins and
dressings, plain tiled roofs. Double gable end to street with pentice to
left. Two storeys and attics in gables. One attic window to each gable and
corbelled stack to left. Diagonal brick plaque to right hand gable dated
"1687 W.P.". Two leaded casement windows to first floor of each gable, those
to the right larger,and two windows on the ground floor. Four-light cambered
head window to left and two-light window in pentice. Half-glazed door with
Gothic tracery bars to centre under a flat hood on braces with spherical finials.
Right hand return front - Offset stone and brick double stack with round brick
pots over corbelled top. Plat band over ground floor, and basement storey with
blocked-in windows. Large gable to centre with diagonal brick plaque. Leaded
windows to first floor, casement doors below.
