House. C15 core, extended in C17 and C19. Timber framed core clad in white-
washed brick on sandstone rubble plinths, tile hung above with fishscale
pattern to centre. Plain tiled roofs under ridge crests. H-shaped plan
with projecting gable end wings. Two storeys with stacks to left and right
hand return fronts and further stacks to rear. Brick dentil bands over ground
floor of wings. Leaded casement fenestration with one 3-light window to first
floor and one square bay, through-eaves, gabled oriel window on four braces to
centre. One 2-light window to left hand wing and one 3-light window to right
over two and 3-light ground floor windows. One large 3-light window to left
on ground floor centre range with shutters. Door of six panels to right, with
top two panels glazed, under flat hood. Right hand return front - two ground
floor square bay windows, some coursed Bargate-stone cladding and clubtile
hanging on first floor. Rear - frame exposed to first floor left. C20 brick
and tile hung wing to right. Single storey link across the ground floor and
partly rebuilt crow-stepped stack to centre.
