House, now shop. Late C18 - early C19, altered. Brick, stuccoed at front, and
tile-hung. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys with attic, 1 bay with lower 2-storey,
parallel rear range. C20 half-glazed door on right of C20 2-light window with
old, segmental-arched, 2-light casement window above, all glazing small-paned.
Stepped eaves. Ridge stack on left, shared with No 25 (q.v.). Rear: part
tile-hung, rear range under separate roof having stack at right end and to ridge
near centre; late C20 single-storey extensions not of special interest.
Interior: No 27 was built abutting No 29 (q.v.) and on the ground floor shares
No 29's timber-framed side-wall; old board doors on first floor and attic.
