Early C19. 3 storey. Colour-washed stucco on projecting plinth. Strings
at 1st and 2nd floor levels. Flat eaves, Slate roof. 2 windows with architrave
frames and 2 6-panel doors in outer corners with architrave frames and flat
moulded hoods on double scroll cut brackets. Cellar window to No 36. The
hood broken forward over brackets.

All the listed buildings, with Nos 1 to 9 (consec) Lowndes Buildings, in Castle
Street (West Side) form a group.
