NY 87 NE CHOLLERTON CHIPCHASE

House now subdivided into 2. Mid/late C18. Ashlar with Welsh slate roof.
Centre block 2½ storeys, 5 bays with lower 2-storey, 1-bay wings.

6-panelled door with eared architrave, pulvinated frieze,cornice and pediment.
Ground and 1st floor windows are 12-pane sashes, 2nd floor 6-pane. Band above
1st floor.

Wings have C20 windows on ground floor and Yorkshire sashes above. Gabled roof
with kneelers and flat coping. 4 stone end stacks.

Rear facade is irregular with cat-slide and lean-to roofs; and various windows
including a 20-pane staircase window in hip-roofed stair projection.
