East Fourstones Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Early C19 incorporating some earlier fabric. Main block coursed stone with tooled and margined quoins and dressings, hipped slate roof with twin central corniced stacks. Two storeys, three windows. Four semicircular stone steps to central six-panelled door with oblong fanlight. Sixteen-pane sash windows with slightly projecting sills. Rear wing to left has three original sashes to first floor on south; block attached to north side of wing is part of earlier house, rubble with dressed quoins, later windows, later outshuts on north.
