Large late C18 red brick mansion of three storeys. Five windows to centre, keystones, no glazing bars Old tile roof. Wings of two storeys and two windows, and one window blank centre breaks forward. Later projecting porch, stone quoins and cornice, doorway with moulded surround and pediment on brackets. Fielded door beneath round-headed fanlight.

West Retford House and Stabling form a group.
