House and attached cottage. Late C18. Red brick. Hipped slate
roof. 2 lateral and single ridge red brick stacks. Set on a
plinth. 2 storey, 3 bay house and two and a half storey, 2 bay
cottage. The single central bay of the house slightly projects.
Painted first floor band to the house only. House has central
doorway, 3 steps up, with part glazed and panelled door,
decorative overlight and painted moulded surround with 2 reeded
brackets supporting a pediment. Either side are single glazing
bar sashes. Above are 3 similar sashes. To the left and
slightly set back is the cottage. Doorway with 6 fielded panel
door, flush wedge lintel and keystone, and to the left a single
glazing bar sash, above is a single similar sash and on the top
floor a single similar smaller sash. All sashes have painted
flush wedge lintels and keystones.
