Brewery

GV II
Malthouse, now bottling plant and store. c.1840 and c.1900. Coursed regular
ironstone with stone slate roof laid to diminishing courses. Ironstone quoins.
U-plan. 2 storeys plus attic. Cast iron window frames and glazing bars on
ground and first floors; 2-light casements with wooden lintels to attic floor.
Doors and windows on ground floor and first floor have arched blue/red brick
voussoirs. Brick dentilled cornice. Included for group value.
