Chest tomb. Early C18. Marlstone and limestone. Rectangular chest with a
chamfered base and deep moulded cover (both in limestone), has plain marlstone
sides with inscriptions within incised borders. Inscriptions are partly
illegible but commemorate several members of the Gardner family and include the
dates 1725, 1756 and 1772.
