13/86 Hillside Farmhouse

Farmhouse and former outbuilding. Probably early C18, extended late C19. Coursed
squared limestone rubble and yellow brick; Stonesfield-slate roof with stone
stacks. Central-stair plan, extended. 2 storeys plus attic. 3-window front has a
central 6-panel door, tall 2-light casements above and to left, all with flat
arches, and has old 3-light casements with wooden lintels in the right bay; to
extreme right is a yellow brick C19 extension. Main roof has flanking stacks.
Outbuilding range to left, now partly incorporated into house, has a stable
door, a 4-light casement and a loft door, and has a hipped roof. Interior not
inspected. Included for group value.
