Bridge. Probably partly late medieval and dated 1685. Coursed squared limestone
rubble and ashlar. Main part has 2 arches separated by triangular cutwaters with
refuges. North arch is 3-centred; south is 4-centred with stepped buttresses to
south. Further south still is a smaller 3-centred arch. Stone parapets have
triangular copings and eastern refuge contains 2 adjacent stones inscribed
"1685/HERE ENDS/THE COVNTY OF/OXON" and "HERE/BEgINETH/The COVNTY/OF Bvcks
1685". Parts of the bridge lie within the parishes of Waterstock, Oxon and
Ickford, Bucks.
