Farmhouse. Mid C18. Coursed limestone rubble with some ashlar dressings and
brickwork; old plain-tile roof with brick stacks. Central-stair plan with 2 rear
wings. 2 storeys. 4-window front, with ashlar storey band and stone eaves cove,
has 6-panel door under flat stone canopy, to right of centre, and 12-pane sashes
with heavy timber lintels. Ground-floor sash to extreme left is blocked and
another is inserted beside it. Front is flanked by full-height stepped ashlar
buttresses, probably added early C19. Roof is hipped to left. Rubble and brick
lower rear wings have casements. Interior: Old plank doors with heavy frames in
rear wings.
