Farmhouse, now house. Probably Cl6, remodelled late C17/early C18. Coursed
limestone rubble with timber lintels and timber framing with plaster infill;
thatch roof with brick stacks. 3-unit plan. One storey plus attics. 3-window
front has 4-panel door, to right of centre, and three C20 casements plus a small
stair window; at first floor are dormers of 2,3 and 3 lights with old frames.
Right bay is an addition. Roof is hipped to left and has stacks to left of
centre and to right gable. Rendered left gable wall is timber framed. Rear wall
has timber framing at first floor with curved braces. Interior: stop-chamfered
beams and joists. Double smoke bay with later stack and back-to-back open
fireplace. Clasped-purlin roof with curved windbraces.
