House. Late C17/early C18. Coursed limestone rubble; thatched roof; brick
stacks. 2-unit plan. One storey and attic; 3-window range. Early C20 central
gabled porch, of limestone rubble with tile roof, has C20 door set in pointed
arch. Flat stone arch to left, timber lintels to right over C20 two-light
casements; C20 two-light casements in half dormers. C20 lean-to extension to
left. Gabled roof; gable end stacks. To rear are two 2-light leaded casements
and one mid C19 two-light casement in half dormer. Interior: Room to left has
full set of chamfered and stopped beams and chamfered bressumer over open
fireplace. Room to right has chamfered bressumer over remodelled fireplace.
Attic not inspected but likely to be of interest.
